Today started at about 7:30, we all slept very well. After breakfast Hannah and Dad when to get water, but came back with some blueberries. Bridget unpacked and organized the cabin, while Paul went to investigate the boat. Paul and Dad launched the boat while Mom made Cheese sandwiches and soup. We took a boat ride over to the church camp and then to Dog Island to find out where the fish were biting. We all so were blessed with seeing 3 eagles very close on Paradise Island. On the way home Bridget and Paul got out and brought the canoe home from Cameron’s, beings they were leaving tomorrow. We plan on borrowing it for the trip up Piskegomang Brook. To this point Hannah is the only one to bath in the lake, we will overlook the fact it was in 8in of water. Paul wake boarded and got up the second time off the dock, but when he wiped out in the lake he had trouble starting out of the water. Bridget made quesadillas for dinner along with corn and potatoes. We ended the day per Hannah’s request by playing Clue for the first time. With everyone being a little tired it was a loopy experience. Alan pulled out the win at the end with the help of the kids not using their poker faces. --Alan
Something dad forgot to mention was that Chippie became a burglar and ate two of our ears of sweet corn that we brought from home. We kind of held it against him at the time, but pronounced it as a good riddance after we tasted it ourselves. It was so tough I couldn’t even finish mine!!! I really feel sorry for the Cameron’s and Grove’s as we gave them a lot of corn. (They said that they enjoyed it) --Paul
